Reba Wilborn

Reba Terry-Wilborn is an Inspirational Writer and Author, a Prayer Warrior, a Teacher, a Motivational Speaker, a Board Certified Christian Mental Health Counselor, a Board-Certified Christian Life Coach and the Principal of The Heritage Christian Academy, El Paso, Texas. The mother of 3, with over 30 years experience in ministry, she graduated from the Ministry Empowerment Course Alliance of El Paso (M.E.C.A.) and currently serves as an Ordained Elder at Abundant Grace Church Ministries. As a Lifetime Learner, Elder Reba obtained numerous certificates, recognitions and diplomas including graduating with her Christian Life Coach Certification from Life University, her Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counseling from Webster University, and her Bachelor’s Degree from Park University. As a Christian Entrepreneur with a strong Kingdom Building foundation, she is the Founder and CEO of Spirited Touch Power4Life Coaching. Principal Reba aspires to use the combination of God’s Word, her education and learning, and her life experiences to motivate, empower and expand the minds of The Heritage Christian Academy students. Principal Reba Terry-Wilborn believes that Prayer, Biblical truths and God’s guidance are an essential requirement for training our youth in accordance with the concepts of Godly living, which will develop and edify in them, a Christian mindset as well as inspire HCA students to fulfill God's will, plan and purpose for their lives.

Assistant Principal

Shakira Gonzalez

Shakira Gonzalez possesses over fifteen years of experience as a Child Care Provider, a Mentor, an Advocate, a Coordinator, a Preschool Teacher and a business owner. She has extensive experience working with special needs children which include proficient knowledge and creative skills required to master the designing of Individualized Education Plans (IEPS) that are based on the child’s specific developmental needs. Mrs. Gonzalez has specialized training in numerous Child Development arenas, and has earned certificates, and licenses that demonstrate her expertise. She has completed her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Child Development and Family Studies. Graduating with high honors, Mrs. Shakira was selected for the Chancellor’s List and handpicked by two different Honor Societies. Although most of her recent experience has been committed to embracing the challenge of meeting the needs of children, she has experience as an Administrative Assistant, a skilled Supervisor, and a Human Resources Representative. Mrs. Shakira Gonzalez is a professional educator with broad experience in the field of specialized education for children who need to feel the Agape Love of God through patience and understanding. As the Assistant Principal of The Heritage Christian Academy, her passion for Christ, her knowledge of Biblical Principles, her insight and her beliefs that the right education at an early age can make a positive difference in children's lives make her a valuable asset to the field of Christian Education.
